Frequently asked.

The questions that come up most often. If yours isn't here, we'll gladly answer it directly.

Every new client starts with a 30-minute complimentary consultation — in person or virtual. Our injector and esthetician review your goals, skin history, budget, and downtime tolerance, then build a 6-month plan you can pace however you'd like.
Yes. All injectors at Vela are Registered Nurses or Nurse Practitioners with a minimum of five years of aesthetic experience, working under the direct supervision of our Medical Director, a board-certified physician.
We accept Cherry, CareCredit, and Affirm. Our Glow Membership also bundles monthly treatments at a 15–20% discount and rolls unused dollars forward.
Botox is a neuromodulator that temporarily relaxes specific muscles to soften dynamic wrinkles. Filler is a gel-based volumizer that restores structural support and adds volume — cheeks, lips, jawline. Most clients benefit from a thoughtful combination rather than one or the other.
Most treatments have minimal downtime — Botox, Hydrafacial, Laser Hair Removal, IV Therapy, and CoolSculpting are walk-in/walk-out. Fillers may bruise for 1–2 days. Morpheus8 and chemical peels involve 3–7 days of redness and flaking depending on depth.
Some are. CoolSculpting permanently destroys fat cells in the treated area. Laser hair removal provides permanent reduction (with maintenance). Botox, fillers, and IV therapy require ongoing treatment to maintain results.
Often, yes. Botox + Hydrafacial is our most popular combo. Filler + skin tightening, or IV therapy + injectables, also pair well. We'll sequence treatments safely and may stagger some across visits for optimal results.
Yes. Our laser platforms (GentleMax Pro Plus, Sofwave, Morpheus8) and chemical peel formulations are safe and effective across all Fitzpatrick types I through VI.
No. Our practice is built on under-treating before over-treating. We dose conservatively, photograph before and after, and ask you to come back in two weeks before adjusting. The goal is that no one can name what you've had done.
Hyaluronic-acid fillers can be dissolved with hyaluronidase — we'll reverse any of our own work without judgment. Botox wears off over 3–4 months. For laser and skin treatments, we offer a complimentary recovery follow-up at week 2 to assess and adjust the plan if needed.
